September, 18,2018 saw the opening matches of the Champions League tournament in the various groups. Biggest match was Liverpool hosting french-based Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield. The match ended in a dramatic victory for Liverpool with Roberto Firmino securing a late goal for the English club.This meant a perfect start in the tournament where they finished runners up in the last year’s season and fourth in the English Premier League.Is liverpool proving to be a formidable force and do they have the strength to bounce back from last year’s tournament and win it this season,,,??? The club has made a perfect start of the season winning all their games prior to their uefa champions league clash with Psg. They have managed to stay top of the table and their win against the french giants will boost their confidence moving forward. Kloop’s tactic is the 4-3-3 system of play with a provison for an-all attack strategy. With the depth in the squad and tactic system that has since favoured them, liverpool are proving a force to reckon with the world of football. However, as the team goes deeper into the various competitions, consistency will prove a major boost for the squad. They are hoping to clinch their first E.p.l. title in over a decade and this year’s Uefa trophy. It is going to be an exciting stretch of liverpool matches as fans watch if the club will maintain their consistent performance in a bid for success. With a strong offensive unit, the club has a chance to prove their worth in the 2018-2019 football season.
